"Quick" Cajun Rice Dressing

Cook ground meat in skillet with chopped onion and bell pepper.
Drain, then add 2 packages Cajun rice (Lipton brand). Follow directions on package.
Put in large casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes.
Then serve.

Cajun Rice And Chicken

Cut up cooked chicken into 1/2-inch strips.
Combine with cooked rice and beans.
Mix well.
Can be served hot or cold.
For cold salad, chill all ingredients.

Fry hamburger; drain.

Brown ground beef in a large saucepan.
Drain fat.
Add all ingredients, except cheese and picante sauce.
Simmer until rice is tender and water is cooked out.
Transfer to large casserole dish.
Pour 3 tablespoons of picante sauce over mixture.
Spread Cheddar cheese over mixture.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Quick And Easy Cajun Chicken

Make rice according to package directions.
Add tomatoes to rice, then add chicken and heat thoroughly.

Easy Cajun Baked Chicken

Dip chicken breasts into melted butter.
Sprinkle Cajun seasoning liberally on both sides.
Broil (high heat) for 7 to 8 minutes, then turn chicken and broil another 7 minutes.
Serve hot with rice and bread.

Easy Cajun Pepper Steak Saute

In a large skillet, brown the beef cubes in hot oil over medium heat; drain fat.
Stir in broth, tomatoes, green pepper, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, or until meat is tender.
Discard bay leaf.
In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water until smooth.
Stir into simmering sauce, and cook for about 2 minutes, or until thickened.
Serve with rice or noodles.

Cajun Rice

In fry pan stir in ground beef, bell pepper and cook on medium-high heat until beef looses its pink color and bell pepper is soft. Remove excess grease.
Turn temperature down to medium or medium-low. Add remaining ingredients, stir and cook together until ground beef is completely cooked and liquid is gone about 25 to 35 minutes.
More Creole seasoning and red pepper may be added for that Cajun at Heart. I like to use Tony Chacheres's.

Easy Texas Rice

In a saute pan, brown the rice in oil over low to medium heat, stirring constantly (watch closely as it burns easily).
When the rice is brown, add the onion, bell pepper, chili powder and garlic salt.
Turn the heat to high, and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add the tomatoes, and then chicken stock; bring to a boil, cover, reduce the heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat, and let stand for 15-20 minutes.

Easy Cajun Jambalaya

Heat oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Saute chicken and kielbasa until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Stir in onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic. Season with cayenne, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes, or until onion is tender and translucent. Add rice, then stir in chicken stock and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes, or until rice is tender. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce.

Cajun Rice And Black-Eyed Peas

In a pot heat oil over medium-high heat.
Stir in onion, celery, carrot, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, and salt; cook, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes.
Add broth; bring to a boil.
Stir in rice.
Reduce heat to medium-low.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in black-eyed peas.
Cover and simmer for 5 more minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in parsley flakes.
Serve.

Brown sausage in skillet with onion. Add Cajun spice and drain kidney beans.
Add to rice mixture and serve.

In a large deep skillet, brown sausage and drain excess grease.
Add green pepper, celery, onion, and garlic to sausage and saute until softened.
Add chicken livers, rice, chicken broth, cajun seasoning and Tabasco sauce to skillet and stir to mix well.
Simmer over medium heat until liquid is absorbed and rice is cooked.

Quick And Easy Cajun Rice Dressing

Very thoroughly, mix raw ground beef with all ingredients except for green onion tops.
(Must be mixed very well) Spoon in casserole dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray, and cover tightly with foil.
Bake in preheated 350 oven for 1 hour.
Remove foil and stir in green onions, mixing very well again.
Recover with foil and bake for 1/2 hour more.
Stir and fluff with fork before serving.

Cajun Rice And Beans

Cook rice and beans according to package directions.
Pour into crock-pot and add sausage and tomato sauce.
Turn to low to keep warm.

Cajun Rice Dressing

Mix all ingredients and pour into a large casserole dish or disposable foil pan about 12x10. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Place in preheated oven at 400F for one hour or until rice is tender and completely cooked.

In a small sauce pan, bring the water to a boil.
Meanwhile,in a medium nonstick saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium low heat.
Add the garlic, onion, and celery and cook for 1 minute.
Add the rice and cook, stirring frequently until the rice turns light brown.
Add the bouillon and cumin to the water, stir.
Add the water to the rice and stir.
Bring the heat to low and cover.
Cook the rice for 20 minutes.
