Refreshingly Different Lemon Drop Martini

Rim your frozen martini glass with lemon juice and dip into sugar. Return glass to freezer.
In a cocktail shaker filled 3/4 with ice pour vodka, vermouth and Limoncello and shake 20 times.
Strain into chilled martini glass and garnish with a lemon slice slit half way through and slipped onto the rim of the glass.
Drop one candy lemon drop into the drink and serve.

Meyer Lemon Drop Martini

To make the simple syrup, combine 1 oz. water, 1 oz. sugar (measure in a cocktail jigger) and the lemon zest in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
In a cocktail shaker, combine a handful of ice, the lemon juice, vodka and simple syrup. Shake vigorously and strain into 2 chilled martini glasses rimmed with sugar. Drop two thinly sliced lemon disks into each glass.

Blue Lemon Drop Martini

Pre-chill martini glass in freezer. Rim glass with sugar, if desired. Pour into a martini shaker, the vodka, blue curacao and lemonade. Fill with 1 cup ice and shake until well chilled.
