Cream oil, sugar and cocoa.
Add eggs.
Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Add soda and salt. Add vanilla to hot water and fold water into cake. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until done.
Icing For Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cake: Bring margarine, cocoa and whole milk to boil.
Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla.
Mix until smooth and of spreading consistency.

Mix sugar and angostura bitters in an old-fashioned glass. Mix the two, then add a splash of water. Drop in a cherry and an orange wedge, and muddle into a paste using a muddler (or the back end of a spoon.) Pour in bourbon, fill with ice cubes, and stir.

In a mixing glass
Combine bourbon and dried cherries. Set aside
hole wheat flour, then add old fashioned oats.

Combine the garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a bowl. Place the flour in a shallow dish. Pat the chops dry with paper towels. Cut 2 slits about 2 inches apart through the fat on the edges of each chop (Since pork chops have a tendency to curl when cooked at high heat, cutting the slits will prevent this from happening). Season both sides of the chops with the spice mixture, then dredge the chops lightly in the flour (do NOT discard the flour). Transfer to a plate and let rest for 10 minutes.

Either cut the recipe in half or find a

Place the bowl in the freezer, and every couple of hours or so, stir the mixture, until frozen.

Using a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon, smash cherries and orange peel in a cocktail shaker until cherries are well mashed.
Add bourbon, cherry syrup, and orange bitters. Fill with ice and shake vigorously 10 times. Strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a cherry from the syrup and an orange twist.
