Old Fashioned Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Mazola oil *
4 eggs, well beaten
2 c. flour (presifted)
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
dash of allspice
3 c. grated carrots (California are best, sweeter)
nuts (optional)
