GARLIC SPREAD:
Add all ingredients into
For the garlic spread, place mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper
Spread each slice of bread with Mazola, then spread with garlic spread.
Place slices in broiler.
Heat until brown on broil setting for no longer than 1 minute.
Check to make sure broiler pan is not too close to oven burner, or bread slices will burn.
Heat slices a few seconds longer to brown tops of bread slices until they are crunchy.
Serve immediately.
Crusts are best.
For the cod and roasted garlic spread:
Remove any brown parts
Slice bread about 1-inch thick and lay on cookie sheet.
Mix Lawry's garlic spread with margarine as directed on jar.
Spread mixture on 1 side of bread only.
Spread on top to cover each slice.
Place in broiler until golden brown.
Mix
in
bowl.
Spread on sliced bread and bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes to make garlic bread.
Toast your bread until it is lightly crispy. (Do not make it as toasted as you would like, because you will be toasting it a little more later.).
Take it out of the toaster oven, and spread a layer of butter on the bread.
Add a layer of garlic spread on top of the butter.
Sprinkle on some parmesan cheese and basil, and toast for about another minute or two.

Mix all the cheeses together until well blended and creamy, then add onions and garlic powder and mix well to combine.
Refrigerate for an hour.

Rinse the chickpeas in cold water and tip into the food processor. Add the tahini, crushed garlic, salt, lemon juice and seven tablespoons of the reserved liquid from the cans. Turn on the food processor and slowly pour in the oil while it runs.
When the mixture is fully combined and smooth, tip it into a serving dish. Drizzle with some more extra virgin olive oil and decorate with a few whole chickpeas. Sprinkle with paprika and finely chopped coriander or parsley leaves, for colour.
Preheat the broiler.

Next put the strips of bacon on top and bake for an hour at 350F degrees.
While waiting, mix the sauce ingredients together.
After the hour is up, pour and smooth the sauce onto the meatloaf and cook another 15 to 20 minutes. I have sometimes added 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt instead of the salt to the sauce mixture and that is also delicious!
