Shrimp With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 chopped onion
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 chopped green pepper
    1 1/4 c. raw rice
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. dry white wine
    3 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 bay leaf
    2 lb. raw shrimp
Preparation
    In Dutch oven, heat butter; add onion, mushrooms, green pepper, rice, nutmeg, salt and pepper and cook, stirring, until rice is brown.
    Add wine and simmer 5 minutes.
    Add hot water, parsley, thyme and bay leaf; cover and cook 10 minutes, depending on size of shrimp.
    Remove bay leaf and serve immediately.
