Split Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. split peas
    1/2 to 3/4 pot water (Dutch oven pot)
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    4 cloves garlic
    1 1/2 tsp. Nature's Seasoning by Morton
    1 medium onion, diced
    6 to 10 carrots, diced
    1 bay leaf
    ham hocks
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and cook on medium until it boils, then cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
    Add water if necessary to desired thickness.
