Bananas 'N' Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar.
    Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Blend in vanilla.
    Add bananas and mix well.
    Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, stirring just until combined.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch Bundt or tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until cake tests done.
    Cool 10 minutes in pan before removing to a wire rack to cool.
    Dust with confectioners sugar before serving.
    Yield:
    12 to 16 servings.
