Seven Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 unbeaten egg whites
    1 1/2 C sugar
    2 tsp light corn syrup
    1/3 C cold water
    dash salt
    1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites, sugar, corn syrup, water and salt in top of double boiler for 1 min. Place mixture over, but not touching, boiling water. Beat constantly while cooking until soft peaks form (about 7 min). Use a timer. DO NOT OVERCOOK.
    Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Beat until blended (about 2 min)
