Broccoli Rabe- Saute - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Bunches of Broccoli rabe (about 1 lb)
2 cloves of garlic crushed
2 TBS. Bertolli olive oil
1/2 Cup sundried tomatoes sliced in strips
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Cup chicken or vegetable broth
1 lb. Penne pasta or shape desired.
1 tsp. salt for pasta water
Bertolli extra virgin olive oil to garnish.
Preparation

Bring pot with pasta water to boil. When water reaches boiling add pasta.
At the same time. Add Olive oil to heated large skillet. Add garlic and saute for a minute or two. Add broccolli,saute until limp and stems begin to feel somewhat soft. Add the sundried tomatoes and crushed red peppers mix together for another minute. Add the broth bring to a quick boil. Cover pan and remove from heat.
Take cooked, drained pasta and add to skillet with broccoli stir together and put into a serving platter. Garnish with extra virgin olive oil.
