Roasted Drunkin Pears - cooking recipe

6 pears topped, cored and skin on1
1 cup walnuts pieces
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup white sugar
1tsp. Nutmeg
1tsp. Cinnamon
1 stick butter, room temperature
Amaretto
Preparation

Combine the white sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Use part of the stick of Butter and sugar coat a baking dish large enough to hold the pears comfortably, using the1/3-1/2 of the spiced sugar mixture.
Next, use a portion of the butter to coat the outside of the pears and then coat them in the spiced sugar and place in the baking dish.
Then carefully fill each pear almost to the top with amaretto and add walnut pieces to fill the rest of the way. Make a small mound of the brown sugar mix - brown sugar, finely chopped walnuts, butter, and chocolate chips to seal the top and place the cap back on each pear. Place in a 350\u00b0 oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the skin on the pears begins to bubble and sizzle. Remove the dish and place on cooling rack for 5 minutes so that pears are able to be handled pears will be soft and bottoms may be gooey and sticky. Use a spatula get underneath each pear to serve. A scoop of vanilla ice cream pears well with this desert.
