Mum'S Carbonara - cooking recipe
Ingredients

40g butter
2 tsp oil
1 medium sized onion
125g Bacon (Half a pack)
2 egg yolks
290m double cream
6 tbsp finely grated parmesan (half a pack)
Black pepper
Spaghetti or Penne
Preparation

Heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan
Fry onion until soft and add bacon pieces
Meanwhile, boil the pasta to taste. Try and keep 'al dente'
Mix egg yolks, cream and black pepper in a bowl. Add parmesan and mix well
When pasta is ready, mix all ingredients together and serve
The heat of the bacon and pasta will cook the egg, so just stir it all together and enjoy
