Jewish Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 c shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 pint sour cream
    1 t vanilla
    2 cups flour
    1 1/2 t baking powder
    1/2 t baking soda
    Filling:
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 t cinnamon
    1/2 c chopped pecans
    2 apples
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add rest of ingredients. Beat until smooth. Grease bundt pan. Pour half batter in pan. Put half of filling over batter. Add 1 apple, sliced very thin. Pour remaining batter over top. Sprinke with rest of filling and another apple.

    Bake 350\u00b0 for an hour.
