Chicken Cacciatora - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. chicken breast (diced)
2 med. onions, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 teaspoon crushed dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
2 whole bay leaves
1/2 cup dry white wine
Preparation

In large skillet heat oil; brown chicken. Remove from skillet and set aside. Cook garlic and onions in the oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients except the wine to the onions and garlic. Cover and cook over very low heat for about 45 minutes. Add wine and continue to cook, uncovered, about 20 minutes longer. Skim off excess fat and remove the bay leaves.
Serve over spaghetti or noodles of your choice.
