Beer-Braised Pork Loin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    500 g onions, peeled and cut into wedges
    3 ears sweetcorn, peeled, cut into thick slices
    5 None pork steaks (175 - 200g each)
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
    500 ml vegetable stock
    1 bottle (330ml) dark beer
    3-4 None bay leaves
    2 sprigs parsley, roughly chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Heat oil in a roasting pan, season pork then sear for 2 mins per side. Remove from pan, add corn and onions and cook for 2-3 mins. Return pork to pan, deglaze with stock and beer. Bring to a boil, add bay leaf then transfer to oven and bake for 45-50 mins, basting frequently. Serve with parsley.
