Almond And Chocolate Florentines - cooking recipe

5 tbsp butter
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp honey
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp heavy cream
1/2 cup sliced almonds
2 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Grease and line 4 baking pans with parchment paper.
Combine the butter, sugar, honey, flour and cream in a small saucepan; bring to the boil, stirring. Reduce the heat to low; cook, without stirring, for 2 mins. Remove from the heat and stir in the nuts.
Drop level teaspoons of the mixture about 3 inches apart onto the prepared pans.
Bake for about 6 mins or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven. Using a metal spatula, push the florentines into rounds. Cool on the pans for 1 min then carefully lift the florentines onto a parchment paper-lined wire rack to cool. Drizzle the florentines with chocolate. Refrigerate until set.
