Beef Patties With Bacon And Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
2 None onions, peeled and finely chopped
1 egg beaten
2 oz cheddar, grated
2 tbsp olive oil
3 oz bacon lardons
5 oz button mushrooms, roughly chopped
3 sprigs thyme, leaves picked and roughly chopped
3 tbsp breadcrumbs
None None potato wedges, to serve
None None tomato salad, to serve
Preparation

Place the ground beef in a bowl with the onions, egg and cheese. Stir to mix, then knead to combine thoroughly. Shape into 8 patties.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, fry the bacon lardons and mushrooms for 3 mins. Remove from the heat and stir in the thyme leaves and breadcrumbs. Set aside.
Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan, and fry the patties for 3-4 mins each side (you may need to do this batches).
Place the patties on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, top with the bacon and mushroom mixture. Bake for 5 mins. Serve with potato wedges and a tomato salad, if liked.
