Cheese, Salami And Tomato Strata - cooking recipe

18 oz sourdough bread, sliced and torn into 1-2 inch pieces
1 lb salami, cut into thin strips
8 None medium tomatoes, deseeded, coarsely chopped
16 None eggs, at room temperature
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1 lb cream cheese
1/3 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
2 oz Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease and line 2 - 12x8 inch baking dishes with parchment paper. Combine bread, salami and tomatoes then distribute between prepared pans. Whisk together eggs, cream and cream cheese, season then pour 3/4 of the egg mixture over bread. Set aside for 20 mins.
Sprinkle with parsley then pour remaining egg mixture over bread. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 50-60 mins, or until just set in the center. Let cool for 1 hour then cut into pieces and serve.
