Limoncello Melting Moments Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
    1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
    2 tsp limoncello liqueur
    1 tsp grated lemon peel
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/2 cup cornstarch
    None None FOR THE FILLING
    7 tbsp butter, softened
    1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
    1 tbsp limoncello liqueur
    1 tbsp grated lemon peel
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Lightly grease and line 2 baking pans with parchment paper.
    Beat butter, powdered sugar, limoncello and lemon peel in a large bowl with an electric mixer until pale and creamy. Beat in combined flour and cornstarch until just combined.
    Roll level tablespoons of mixture between floured hands. Place 2 inches apart on prepared pans. Flatten slightly using floured fork.
    Bake 15-20 mins. Cool on pans 5 mins. Remove from pans; cool completely on a wire rack.
    Meanwhile, for the filling, beat butter in a bowl with electric mixer until pale and creamy. Beat in remaining ingredients until smooth. Spread filling on half of the cookies. Sandwich together with remaining cookies.
