Avocado Pesto Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    13 oz spaghetti
    1 cup firmly packed basil leaves, plus additional, to serve
    1 None avocado, pitted, peeled and chopped
    1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    2 tbsp slivered almonds, toasted, plus additional, to serve
    1/2 None lemon, juiced
    1 tbsp olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
Preparation
    Cook spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain well. Return to pan.
    Combine all remaining ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until smooth. Season to taste.
    Add avocado pesto to hot pasta; toss to combine. Serve topped with additional almonds and basil leaves.
