Braised Borlotti Beans With Tomato And Garlic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb fresh borlotti beans (cranberry beans), shelled
    1 lb ripe tomatoes, chopped coarsely
    1 head garlic, cut in half horizontally
    1/4 cup fresh oregano leaves
    1/3 cup olive oil
    1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh basil
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F.
    Place the beans, 1 cup water, tomatoes, garlic and oregano in a baking dish. Drizzle with the oil. Cover with foil.
    Bake for about 1 1/4 hours or until the beans are tender. Just before serving, stir in the basil.
