Bacon And Cheese Dip In A Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf round white bread
    2 pkg (8 oz each) reduced fat cream cheese
    4 oz lean bacon, diced
    2 None tomatoes, diced
    1/2 small onion, diced
    2 tbsp mayonnaise
    1 bunch chives, finely chopped
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Slice the top off the loaf and pull out chunks of bread from the inside to create a shell. Place the bread shell, top and chunks on a baking pan. Bake for 5 mins, until light golden, crisp and warm.
    Meanwhile, place the cream cheese in a large microwavable bowl. Microwave on high for 1 min, until soft enough to mix.
    Cook bacon in a small skillet until crisp. Drain on a paper towel. Add the bacon to the cream cheese with tomato, onion, mayonnaise and 1/2 of the chives.
    Spoon the dip into the bread shell and top with the remaining chives. Serve on a platter with bread chunks for dipping.
