Vanilla French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 None large eggs
    1/3 cup milk
    1 tbsp sugar
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1/4 cup butter
    4 thick slices day-old bread
    None None Fresh strawberries, to serve
    None None Maple syrup, to serve
    None None Whipped cream, to serve
Preparation
    Using a fork, whisk eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla in a large, shallow dish.
    Melt half the butter in a large frying pan. Dip 2 slices of bread into egg mixture, turning to coat both sides. Let excess egg drain. Cook over medium heat for 2 mins each side or until golden brown.
    Transfer to a warm plate and cover loosely with foil to keep warm. Repeat with remaining butter, bread and egg mixture. Serve immediately with strawberries, maple syrup and cream.
