Jasmine Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup jasmine rice
Preparation
    Wash rice thoroughly until the water runs clear. Bring 2 cups water to the boil in a medium saucepan with a tight-fitting lid. Add rice and a pinch of salt and boil, partially covered, for 5 mins, or until holes start to appear in the surface of the rice.
    Cover completely with the lid (do not remove the lid again until rice is completely cooked) and turn the heat down as low as possible. Cook for 10 mins. Remove the pan from the heat and let stand for 10 mins. Remove the lid and fluff with fork.
