Cauliflower And Broccoli Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head cauliflower, cut into florets
    1 head broccoli, cut into florets
    7 tbsp butter
    1/3 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup milk
    3 oz Cheddar cheese, grated
    1.5 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
    1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease a 12 inch baking dish.
    Place cauliflower and broccoli into a large saucepan. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 6-8 mins, until tender. Drain and transfer to prepared pan.
    Meanwhile, to make the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, for 1 min. Gradually mix in milk until smooth. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until sauce boils and thickens. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 mins. Season to taste.
    Pour sauce over vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake for 20-30 mins, until bubbling and golden.
