Polenta Fries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt vegetable oil
    1 tube (18 oz) refrigerated prepared plain polenta, like San Genaro
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
    2 tbsp sour cream
    1/3 cup prepared chunky tomato salsa
Preparation
    Heat oil in a deep saucepan. Slice polenta into 1/2 inch x 3 inch sticks. Coat with flour. Fry polenta in batches of 5-8 mins or until golden brown. Immediately toss with cheese and season with salt and pepper. In a bowl, stir together sour cream and salsa. Serve.
