Chocolate Mud Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup butter, coarsely chopped
14 oz dark chocolate, 7 oz coarsely chopped, 7 oz melted
1 tbsp instant coffee
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
2 None eggs, at room temperature
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
10.5 oz white chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0F. Grease and line an 8 inch round cake pan with parchment paper. Combine butter, chopped dark chocolate, 1 cup hot water and instant coffee over low heat. Cook, stirring, for 5 mins, or until melted. Set aside for 5 mins to cool. Transfer to a bowl.
Add sugar and eggs and whisk to combine. Sift and fold in flour and cocoa powder. Transfer to prepared pan, smooth surface and bake for 2 hours, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely in pan then transfer to a serving plate.
Meanwhile, gently heat white chocolate and cream over a double boiler until melted and smooth. Let cool for 5 mins then chill, stirring occasionally, for 30 mins, or until mixture thickens.
Spread melted dark chocolate chocolate over a large piece of parchment paper. Set aside for 5 mins, or until just beginning to set. Using a large sharp knife, pull blade across surface of chocolate to form curls.
Spread white chocolate ganache over top and sides of cooled cake. Decorate with chocolate curls. Serve.
