Caramel Banana Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 cup self-rising flour
    1 1/4 cups whole wheat self-rising flour
    3 tbsp butter
    3 small ripe bananas
    1/2 cup low fat milk
    1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease an 8-inch round baking pan; sprinkle bottom of pan with 2 tbsp of the sugar.
    Place flours and 1 tbsp of the remaining sugar in medium bowl; rub in butter. Mash one of the bananas; add to bowl with milk. Mix to a soft, sticky dough. Knead dough on floured surface. Roll dough to 16 x 12-inch rectangle.
    Chop remaining bananas finely. Sprinkle remaining sugar over dough; top with nuts and banana.
    Starting from long side, roll dough tightly; trim ends. Cut roll into 10 slices. Place pinwheels, cut-side up, in single layer, in pan.
    Bake pinwheels about 30 mins. Serve warm.
