Cherry Jubilee Jello - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tbsp powdered gelatin, bloomed in 3/4 cup cold water for 5 mins
2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
2 tbsp cherry brandy
Preparation

Combine sugar and 3/4 cup water in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 10 mins, or until syrup is thicker but still clear. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Stir in brandy. Let cool for 10 mins, skimming any scum from surface.
Transfer mixture to a greased 10x3 inch loaf pan. Chill for 3 hours, or until firm.
Turn jello out onto a clean cutting board and cut into squares with a hot, wet knife.
