Beef Casserole With Vegetables - cooking recipe

1 lb ground beef
1 None onion, chopped
14 oz can tomatoes
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 lb carrots, chopped
1 1/2 lb potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp milk
18 oz box frozen creamed spinach, thawed
2 oz Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Cook the beef in a frying pan with no oil 5 mins. Add onion and cook 5 more mins. Add tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce and season. Bring to a boil then cover and simmer 20 mins.
Cook the carrots and potatoes in boiling salted water 10-15 mins until tender. Drain. Mash and season carrots. In a separate bowl, mash potatoes with the butter and milk and season.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Layer beef, carrot, spinach and potatoes in a deep ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 25-30 mins until golden. Serve hot.
