Lamb And Chickpea Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb ground lamb
    1 cup soft fresh breadcrumbs
    1 None medium Spanish onion, finely chopped
    2 tbsp mild curry paste
    1 None large egg white
    1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    1 (13.5 oz) can chickpeas, rinsed, chopped
    6 None pita bread
    None None lettuce, to serve
    None None mango chutney and lemon wedges, to serve
Preparation
    Combine ground lamb, breadcrumbs, onion, curry paste, egg white, cilantro and chickpeas in a large bowl. Shape into 12 patties. Place on a plate, cover with plastic wrap and chill for 15 mins.
    Place a lightly oiled grill plate over medium heat. Grill patties for 5 mins per side, or until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a heatproof plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
    Meanwhile, lightly coat both sides of pita bread with oil. Grill for 1-2 mins, or until lightly browned.
    Place pita bread on plates. Top with lettuce, patties and chutney. Serve with lemon wedges.
