Italian Sausages With Brussels Sprouts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 cup olive oil
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 tbsp fennel seeds
    1 tbsp black mustard seeds
    2 cloves garlic, sliced
    1 None lemon, peel grated and lemon juiced
    1 3/4 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
    1 cup loosely packed fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
    8 None Italian sausages
Preparation
    For the dressing, place oil in a small saucepan and warm on medium heat. Add onion, fennel, mustard seeds and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until onion is soft and starting to brown, about 15 mins. Remove from heat. Add lemon peel and juice.
    Heat an oiled grill pan on high heat. Cook Brussels sprouts until well charred on both sides. Transfer to a bowl and toss with dressing and parsley.
    Broil or pan-fry sausages until cooked through. Serve with Brussels sprouts.
