Swirl Meringues - cooking recipe

4 None egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp cornstarch

Preheat the oven to 300\u00b0F. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper.
Beat egg whites in a large, clean bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, beating until sugar dissolves and mixture is stiff, thick and glossy. Beat in vanilla, vinegar and cornstarch.
Divide meringue into two bowls. Sprinkle drops of pink food color over mixture in one bowl. Repeat with yellow food color in remaining mixture.
Using a tablespoon, scoop out individual meringues and place 2 inches apart on prepared pans (food color will swirl through mixture as you scoop).
Bake 45 mins. Reduce oven temperature to 250\u00b0F. Bake 40-45 mins. Cool in a turned-off oven, with the door ajar, to allow meringues to dry out completely.
