Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
    1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
    1 None egg white, lightly beaten
    2 tbsp fresh chopped herbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
    Sprinkle a work surface with 1/2 of the cheese. Unfold puff pastry, place over cheese and use a rolling pin to gently press dough into cheese. Brush dough with beaten egg white then sprinkle with remaining cheese and herbs. Season. Use a pizza wheel to cut 12 - 1/2 inch-wide strips of dough. Gently twist then place on prepared tray, pressing down ends to adhere to parchment. Bake for 10-12 mins, until golden brown.
