Chocolate Caramel Bars With Mixed Nuts - cooking recipe

10.5 oz oatmeal cookies, broken into pieces
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, melted, cooled
1 None egg
1 (13.5 oz) can condensed milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
2/3 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup macadamia halves
9 oz milk chocolate, melted

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease and line a 12x8 inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
In a food processor, combine cookies and flour. Pulse to form fine crumbs. Add butter and egg and process until combined. Spread evenly over base of pan, pressing down firmly. Bake for 10-12 mins, until golden brown.
Meanwhile, to make the filling, in a medium saucepan, combine condensed milk, sugar and honey. Stir over low heat for 2-3 mins, until golden. Add nuts and mix to combine. Pour evenly over base and bake for 10-12 mins, until golden brown. Let cool completely then drizzle melted chocolate over top. Allow to set then cut into bars.
