Double Chocolate Cookie Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 tbsp (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
    4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
    2/3 cup plus 2 tbsp granulated sugar
    1 2/3 cups plus 3 tbsp flour
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1 None egg
    4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
Preparation
    For the filling, melt 2 tbsp of the butter in a medium bowl. Cool slightly. Add cream cheese, 2 tbsp of the granulated sugar and 3 tbsp of the flour; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
    Mix remaining 1 2/3 cups flour, baking powder and cocoa powder in a medium bowl. Beat remaining 14 tbsp (1 3/4 sticks) butter, 2/3 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until creamy. Beat in the egg. Fold in the flour mixture. Mix in the chopped chocolate. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Using a small ice cream scoop, cut 2 balls of the dough and press them flat. Put a teaspoonful of the filling in the center of one and press the other one down over the filling, making sure that the edges are pressed together firmly. Place on parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
    Bake for about 12 mins. Cool in pan 2 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
