Mini Bbq Meatball Pizzas - cooking recipe

14 oz ground beef
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
1 tbsp vegetable or rice bran oil
1/2 cup smoky barbecue sauce
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
4 None english muffins, split
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
None None red pepper strips, to garnish
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place ground beef, egg, cornstarch and herbs in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Using clean hands, mix until well combined. Shape into 40 small balls.
Heat oil in a large pan over moderate heat. Cook meatballs, in batches, for 5 minutes or until browned. Add BBQ and Worcestershire sauce to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
Place English muffins on prepared baking sheet. Top each with 5 meatballs and sprinkle with mozzarella. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until golden and bubbly. Top with pepper strips and serve hot.
