Savory Herb Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb boneless prime rib roast
    2 tbsp salted butter, softened
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    1 tbsp chopped parsley
    1 tbsp steak seasoning, like Montreal Steak Seasoning
    1 1/2 tsp chopped rosemary
    None None fresh figs (black), for garnish
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F. Place roast in a roasting pan. Combine remaining ingredients. Coat roast with herb mixture. Roast for 20 mins. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0F and continue roasting for 45 mins to 1 hour or until thermometer inserted into beef reads 135\u00b0F for medium-rare. Let stand for 10 mins before slicing. Garnish with halved figs and additionally as desired.
