Basil And Olive Penne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup penne pasta
    1/3 cup cold vegetable stock
    2 tsp olive oil
    1 small clove garlic, peeled and roughly chopped
    3 tbsp fresh basil, leaves stripped from stems
    1/4 cup pitted black olives, sliced
    2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
Preparation
    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Puree the stock, oil, garlic and basil in a blender. Season with salt and black pepper. Drain the pasta and toss with the pesto and olives. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
