Penne Matriciana - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    13 oz penne pasta
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 None onion, finely chopped
    6 slices bacon, thinly sliced
    3 None tomatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped
    1 None fresh small red bird's-eye chili pepper, finely chopped
Preparation
    Cook pasta in large saucepan of boiling water according to package directions; drain.
    Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Cook onion and bacon, stirring, for 5 mins, or until onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
    Stir in tomatoes and chili pepper. Simmer sauce gently for 5 mins, stirring occasionally. Add pasta; toss to combine.
