Ingredients

6 None oranges, halved, thinly sliced, seeds removed
2 None lemons, halved, thinly sliced, seeds removed
4 cups water
1/2 cup white sugar
1 None lemon, juice
None None toast, scones or crusty bread, to serve
Preparation

Place fruit and water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil on high. Boil rapidly for 25-30 mins, or until oranges are very tender.
Reduce heat to low and add sugar, stirring until completely dissolved. Stir in lemon juice.
Increase heat to medium and boil, without stirring, for a further 20-25 mins, or until set when tested.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal while still hot. Serve on toast, scones or crusty bread.
