Sweet Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter, chopped
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    1/4 tsp almond extract
    2 None eggs
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/3 cup milk or buttermilk
    1 cup raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0F. Lightly grease and flour an 8x4 inch loaf pan.
    Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy. Add almond extract. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour and baking powder together then fold in, alternately with milk until combined. Fold in raisins. Transfer to prepared pan and bake for 1 hour 20 mins, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 5 mins then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
