Berry Strudels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb cream cheese, at room temperature
    1 tsp lemon zest
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    1 None egg
    8 sheets filo dough
    2 tbsp butter, melted
    7 oz frozen berries, thawed
    1/2 cup sliced almonds
    None None powdered sugar, to dust
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Beat cream cheese, lemon zest and sugar until smooth. Add egg and beat until combined.
    Brush 4 sheets of filo dough with butter. Top with remaining sheets then fold each stack in 1/2, spread cream cheese mixture, then berries over top of the pastry. Fold in sides and roll up. Place strudels, seam-side down, on prepared tray. Brush with butter, sprinkle with almonds and bake for 12-15 mins, or until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
