Pepper Steaks With Tomato Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 None onion, finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    3 None zucchinis, sliced, blanched
    5 None tomatoes, sliced
    2 oz mozzarella cheese, grated
    4 None steaks, 1/4 lb each
    2 tbsp cracked black pepper
    None None salad, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0F. Lightly spray an 8 x 8 inch shallow ovenproof dish with cooking oil.
    For the tomato gratin, spray a large frying pan with cooking oil and heat on medium. Cook onion and garlic 3 mins, stirring, until onion is soft. Layer zucchini and tomatoes in prepared dish and season. Sprinkle onion mixture and cheese on top. Bake 15 mins. Broil 1-2 mins, until top is golden.
    Meanwhile, coat one side of steaks with pepper. Heat a griddle pan on high and cook 4 mins each side, or as desired. Serve with tomato gratin and salad.
