Asparagus, Bacon And Parmesan Tortiglioni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg (16 oz) tortiglioni or rigatoni pasta
    1 lb asparagus, trimmed and coarsely chopped
    2 tsp olive oil
    5 slices bacon, thinly sliced
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    6 tbsp (3/4 stick) butter, chopped
    1/4 cup coarsely chopped flat-leaf parsley
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Cook the pasta in large saucepan of boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain and return to the pan.
    Meanwhile, boil, steam or microwave the asparagus until just tender; drain.
    Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Cook the bacon, stirring, until crisp. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
    Add the bacon mixture to the drained pasta. Add the butter, asparagus, parsley and a quarter of the combined cheeses and toss gently. Season to taste.
    Preheat the grill on high. Transfer the pasta mixture to a shallow 2 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle the top of the pasta with the remaining cheese. Broil until lightly browned.
