Bananas With Caramel Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 tbsp butter
    2/3 cup sugar
    1 1/2 cups heavy cream
    4 None bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise and widthwise
    None None coconut ice cream, to serve (optional)
Preparation
    For the caramel sauce, melt butter in a large heavy-based pan. Stir in sugar and cook, stirring occasionally, 8 mins, until sugar has dissolved and mixture is deep caramel brown. Slowly stir in cream. Boil 1 min and reduce heat.
    Add bananas to the pan. Cook 2 mins until bananas are heated through and coated in sauce. Serve with coconut ice cream, if using.
