Rice Meatballs With Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb ground beef
    1 None medium onion, grated
    3.5 oz cooked white long-grain rice
    1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
    1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
    1 None egg, lightly beaten
    2 1/2 cups tomato puree
    1 cup chicken stock
    None None mixed greens, to serve
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, onion, rice, Parmesan, basil and egg in a large bowl. Season then shape into 8 patties. Chill for 10 mins.
    Bring tomato puree and stock to a boil. Add patties, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 25-30 mins, or until patties are cooked and rice is tender.
    Transfer patties and sauce onto serving plates. Serve with mixed greens.
