Beef, Onion And Haloumi Kebabs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup red wine
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
2 tsp barbecue sauce
1 1/2 lb sirloin steak, trimmed, cubed
2 None large red onions, peeled, cut into eighths
8.75 oz halloumi cheese, cubed
1 lb cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tbsp fresh basil leaves, torn
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
None None mixed greens, to serve
7 oz white long-grain rice, cooked
Preparation

Whisk together red wine, olive oil, mustard and barbecue sauce. Add steak and toss to coat well. Chill for 5-10 mins.
Preheat a grill, frying pan or cast iron griddle over medium heat. Thread steak onto 8 soaked skewers, alternating with red onion and halloumi cheese.
Cook kebabs, basting occasionally, for 4-5 mins per side, or until cooked to your liking. Let rest, covered.
Meanwhile, in a serving bowl, toss together tomatoes, basil, vinegar and mixed greens. Season. Serve kebabs with rice and salad.
