Apple-Pecan Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 cups self-rising flour, sifted
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 None Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, finely chopped
    2/3 cup pecans, chopped
    2/3 cup milk
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    1 None egg, lightly beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners. Combine flour, cinnamon, sugar, apples and 1/3 cup pecans. Whisk together milk, butter and egg then mix in until just combined. Distribute between paper liners. Sprinkle evenly with remaining pecans. Bake for 20-25 mins, until a skewer comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 5 mins then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
