Tagliatelle With Mushrooms And Basil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tbsp butter
    7 oz button mushrooms (about 3 cups), sliced
    1 lb fresh herb tagliatelle
    2/3 cup basil leaves, shredded
    1 tbsp olive oil
    None None Fresh chives, snipped, and grated Parmesan cheese, to garnish
Preparation
    Heat the butter in a skillet and cook the mushrooms for 5 minutes, until tender and golden brown.
    Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a large pan of lightly salted boiling water for 5-6 minutes, then drain.
    Return the drained pasta to the pan and add the mushrooms, shredded basil, and olive oil. Season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper; toss well to mix. Pile on to 4 warmed serving dishes. Serve hot, garnished with the snipped chives and grated Parmesan cheese.
